retiral assistance

The Retiral Assistance program is intended to supplement other sources of retirement income for retirees and/or surviving spouses, bringing them to a minimum income level as determined annually by the Board of Administration.  This benefit is available to retired ministers, spouses, widows, or widowers who have served more than 10 years of full time appointed ministry in the Free Methodist Church.

The minimum income levels determined by the Board for 2008 are $10,000 for a single person and $13,000 for a married couple.  Any benefits that you qualify for will be paid to you quarterly.
