Responsibilities include supervision of the department operation, which includes staff, recordkeeping, and distribution of designated funds, development and administration of the trust fund and the department budget, supervising overseas field operations, along with selecting field coordinators.

Other duties include communicating with sponsors, field coordinators and church leaders involved with the International Child Care Ministries program, visiting field projects, and promoting the program through materials, representation and public presentations when appropriate.  This individual will develop various policies and programs and serve as a member of the Missions Executive Leadership Team of Free Methodist World Missions.

Applicant should have computer experience in Microsoft Office 2003 including Word, Excel, and exposure to Access, along with data base management skills.  Strong organizational skills and an ability to understand statistics is desired, along with exposure to the Free Methodist Church and a benevolent heart for children.  Experience and a graduate degree in a related field preferred.  Any background or experience in social work and/or Christian education would be helpful.
