Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church is seeking a Children's pastor to build a ministry for grades 0-6th grade, starting Aug 1, 2009. Experience in Children's Ministry required, a larger church setting preferred. Bachelor's Degree required. An advanced degree in ministry or related fields of education, child and family development, or counseling preferred. Have creative vision to build and equip a large team of lay leaders and be able to mentor student interns. Be able to train families to build their children in faith and life. Be able to articulate whole life discipleship objectives for children with a sensitivity for special needs or at risk children.
